When kids say they’re bored, do you think it’s our job to fix their bored feelings, and are we to constantly entertain, or have them entertained, so they don’t feel bored?
Many researchers believe that boredom can help spark creativity, mindfulness and peacefulness.
If and when you hear “I’m bored” pause, breathe, smile and notice what happens next. You may be pleasantly surprised.
