Have You Thought About Improving Your Habits?

It's never to late to start making good habits. Let's review some good habits that you can start today.



“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Aristotle


If we believe we become what we repeatedly do, then what do we want to repeatedly do?

Think about the habits would you like to encourage and instill in your child this 2017-2018 school year.


Here are just a few to consider:

  • Specific time and place to do homework

  • Exercise breaks during homework time

  • Specific place to hang book bag

  • Specific place for storing shoes

  • Post a morning and nightly routine chart

  • Pack book bag at night

  • Lay clothes out the night before school

  • Drink water

  • Read before bed

  • Lights out at a set time, most kids need 9-11 hours of sleep

  • Brushing and Flossing Teeth

  • Make bed

  • Park phone downstairs while sleeping

  • Diffuse essential oils

  • Use Alarm Clock

  • Create loving rituals before going to bed

  • Daily one-on-one connection time

  • Eat healthy meals together
